Nutrogrub

A bug food containing protein, enhanced with nutrobal with calcium & vitamin D3 for improving the calcium level of insects.

Nutrogrub is a nutritional supplement designed for feeding insects such as mealworms, crickets, and locusts, which will be used as a food source for reptiles, birds, and other insect-eating animals. It is based on a highly palatable vegetable protein source rich in calcium and B vitamins and is further enhanced by Nutrobal (our best-selling calcium balancer) and calcium carbonate.

Nutrogrub is based on a fine vegetable flour enhanced with our world-leading supplement Nutrobal and it’s superfine calcium. This has been hugely successful, with the latest independent laboratory tests showing increased calcium levels in crickets by x10, and in mealworms by x7. The protein content is designed to be low enough to ensure that the mealworms do not mature too quickly but is still more than adequate for support of the feeder insects.

Gut loading is useful in increasing calcium levels, and we recommend using this in combination with Nutrobal.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE

Nutrogrub can be used dry or can be mixed into a paste with water-fed insects. Replace every 24-48rs if used in paste. Do not provide any other source of water or food in the 48 hours prior to using the insects as food.

Nutrogrub is a complementary feeding stuff designed for feeding insects such as mealworms, crickets, and locusts. It is based on a highly palatable vegetable protein source rich in calcium and B vitamins and is further enhanced with Vetark Nutrobal calcium balancer and calcium carbonate.

In addition to feeding crickets etc., it helps their protein level and is proven to enhance their calcium and vitamin D3 content prior to using them as feed for insect-eating birds and animals.
